This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong software engineering practices combined with expertise in modern AI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-native architectur es.You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems that solve complex business and operational challeng es. Primary Job Pur * poseDesign, develop, and deploy AI and Machine Learning solutions to address complex customer requireme * nts.Build scalable AI applications, services, and platforms using modern software engineering practi * ces.Develop, evaluate, and optimise machine learning models, including Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) soluti * ons.Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems, products, and operational environme * nts.Support technical architecture, solution design, and technology selection activit * ies.Ensure AI solutions are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with customer ne eds. Key Responsibil itiesEngineering \& Develo * pmentDesign and develop AI-enabled applications using Python and modern development framew * orks.Build and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI solut * ions.Develop and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and LLM-powered applicat * ions.Integrate AI services with cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and enterprise sys * tems.Create scalable data processing and feature engineering pipel * ines.Implement MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, testing, and lifecycle manage * ment.Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, reliability, and effici * ency.Apply software engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, testing, and code rev * iews.Support technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and innovation activi ties. Architecture \& Solution * DesignContribute to solution architecture and technical design deci * sions.Conduct trade-off analysis across performance, scalability, cost, security, and maintainab * ility.Support the selection and evaluation of AI models, frameworks, and plat * forms.Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and governance require ments. Delivery \& Customer Eng * agementWork closely with project managers, technical leads, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful ou * tcomes.Translate business requirements into technical AI sol * utions.Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lif * ecycle.Present findings, demonstrations, and recommendations to technical and non-technical aud * iences.Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities early to support successful de livery. Essential Skills \& Ex * perienceCommercial experience developing AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science so * lutions.Strong software engineering experience using * Python.Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or equ * ivalent.Experience developing Generative AI and LLM-based appli * cations.Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and prompt engineering tec * hniques.Experience deploying applications within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud P * latform.Understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems archit * ectures.Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kub * ernetes.Strong problem-solving and analytical * skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capab ilities. Desirable Skills \& E * xperienceMLOps experience using MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, or similar p * latforms.Experience with Agentic AI, AI orchestration frameworks, and multi-agent * systems.Knowledge of data engineering technologies and large-scale data p * latforms.Experience working in secure, regulated, or mission-critical envi * ronments.Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and secure AI dev * elopment.Experience working with NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or predictive analytics s * olutions.Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, and model risk management fr * ameworks.Exposure to DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure as Code p ractices. Qual * ificationsDegree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related d * iscipline.Relevant industry certifications are adv antageous.
