This policy explains what personal data UK AI Jobs collects, why, and what rights you have. UK AI Jobs is the data controller for that data. We process it in line with UK data-protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
The job listings on the site describe roles at other organisations and are not your personal data.
We keep the list of suppliers small and use reputable providers who act as our processors:
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
We use only essential cookies — the ones that keep you signed in and keep your session secure. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there’s no cookie consent banner to click through.
We keep account and preference data for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your personal data, except where we need to keep limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations (for example, Stripe retains transaction records as required by law). Server logs are kept for a short period and then rotated.
Under UK data-protection law you can:
To exercise any of these, email support@ukaijobs.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), a managed database with access controls, and a payment processor that handles card data to PCI standards so it never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
We’ll update this policy if our practices change and revise the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
For anything about your data or this policy, email support@ukaijobs.co.uk.
