Want to own product decisions rather than just analyse them? Interested in building AI-powered customer experiences from idea to production? Looking for a role where Data Science, Product and Commercial impact genuinely come together? Brighton | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Up to £90K I'm partnering with one of the world's leading online marketplaces, currently investing heavily in Data \& AI as they transform into a truly product-led organisation. They're hiring a Product/Decision Scientist to join one of six cross-functional product squads, working alongside Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to build customer-facing features, influence commercial decisions and develop AI-powered experiences. Rather than sitting in a central analytics function, you'll own data within your squad, helping shape roadmap decisions from idea through to delivery and measuring the impact of what gets built. Responsibilities • Partner with Product and Engineering to solve commercial and customer problems. • Lead experimentation, opportunity sizing and product performance analysis. • Build recommendation models, segmentation solutions and AI-powered product features. • Develop lightweight data products, automation and proof-of-concepts. • Apply ML and LLMs to improve customer experiences and internal workflows. • Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders. Requirements • 6+ years' experience in Data Science/Decision Science • Strong SQL and Python. • Experience with practical LLM/AI applications. • Strong experimentation and A/B testing experience. • Excellent stakeholder management and commercial thinking. • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams. If you're looking for a role with genuine product ownership, modern technology and the opportunity to influence AI strategy within a growing data organisation, I'd be happy to tell you more.
