AI / Agentic Software Developer

We are looking for a strong software developer who also has genuine hands-on experience building AI agents and agentic systems. This is not a role for somebody who has simply used ChatGPT, called an LLM API, or built a basic chatbot. We want someone who is first and foremost a capable commercial software developer, but who has also personally designed and built meaningful AI-agent technology. You should ideally have solid experience with Python, PostgreSQL/SQL, REST APIs, React/TypeScript, Git, automated testing, containers/cloud, and sound software-engineering principles including database design, transactions, concurrency, security and maintainable code. We are particularly interested in practical experience with areas such as OpenAI and/or Claude agent technology, MCP, tool/function calling, agent orchestration, multi-agent systems, durable workflows, memory/state, RAG/retrieval, evaluations, tracing, observability, permissions and guardrails. A key part of the application process will be showing us something you have actually built. Every applicant should be able to provide a reviewable AI-agent project that they personally created or made a substantial contribution to. This could be a live demonstration, recorded walkthrough, repository access, or appropriately redacted code. We will assess both their conventional software-engineering ability and their agent-engineering work, including what they personally designed and implemented. We are building AI Automated software where AI agents increasingly work alongside developers and operational systems. We want somebody who is excited by that direction and capable of building reliable, secure, production-quality agentic software rather than experimental demos.
