Senior Technical Consultant

Bright Blue AI is seeking an innovative, client-focused Senior Technical Consultant to join our AI advisory and engineering practice in London. In this strategic technical leadership role, you will bridge the gap between complex artificial intelligence capability and practical enterprise applications, acting as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and technical teams. Working alongside Enterprise Architects, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Product Leads, you will lead technical discovery sessions, evaluate AI readiness, and govern end-to-end integration roadmaps. This position balances high-level AI transformation strategy with hands-on technical solution architecture, providing clear opportunities to shape generative AI and machine learning deployment across leading UK enterprises. Key Responsibilities * AI Strategy \& Technical Advisory: Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders to evaluate existing IT infrastructure, assess AI adoption readiness, and formulate scalable enterprise AI transformation roadmaps. * Architecture \& Solution Design: Design high-performing, secure enterprise architectures that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning pipelines, and custom AI agents into cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure). * Requirements Discovery \& Scoping: Lead technical discovery workshops, translate business objectives into functional/non-functional requirements, and author detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), technical blueprints, and project proposals. * Governance, Ethics \& Compliance: Oversee technical project execution, ensuring AI deployments comply with UK GDPR, emerging AI safety frameworks, ISO 27001 security standards, and ethical AI guidelines. * Pre-Sales \& Stakeholder Engagement: Drive technical pre-sales activities, deliver proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations, and lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs. * Thought Leadership \& Mentorship: Stay current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and integration patterns, establish internal best-practice guidelines, and mentor junior consultants. Skills \& QualificationsEssential * 5+ years of commercial experience as a Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, or AI Delivery Lead within an IT services, SaaS, or management consulting environment. * Proven track record architecting and deploying cloud-native enterprise solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP). * Deep technical understanding of modern API integration patterns, microservices architecture, vector databases, and enterprise data infrastructure. * Hands-on experience implementing artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI frameworks in business applications. * Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical AI concepts to non-technical executive leaders. * Strong technical writing skills, with extensive experience crafting detailed architectural blueprints, SOWs, and technical proposals. Desirable * Relevant Professional Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or TOGAF certification. * Experience with MLOps frameworks, data pipelines (dbt, Airflow), or vector search databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate). * Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Prior background in technical pre-sales or management consulting.
