About The Role As a Principal Product Data Scientist at British Airways, you will play a pivotal role within the Operations Delivery Intelligence (ODI) directorate. You will be responsible for leading the development, deployment, and maintenance of advanced decision-support software products that leverage machine learning and optimization techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Working within integrated product squads, you will act as the technical owner of one or more production-grade data science codebases, ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions. Your expertise will help translate complex operational challenges into data-driven models that support real-time decision-making across various airline functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational outcomes on a global scale, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior data scientists, all while contributing to the airline’s mission of connecting Britain with the world.
