About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced AI and machine learning systems across Bumble’s suite of products. In this role, you will define the technical strategy for recommendation, ranking, and personalization algorithms that enhance user engagement, safety, and overall experience. Your expertise will drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable, production-grade models leveraging modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch. You will be instrumental in building AI agents utilizing large language models (LLMs), integrating them with sub-agents, tools, and MCP systems to deliver innovative solutions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentorship of senior contributors, and championing responsible AI practices to ensure fairness, transparency, and safety. You will also oversee the end-to-end development of ML pipelines, integrating data processing tools like Spark and Airflow, and driving experimentation frameworks to continually optimize model performance. This is a strategic leadership position suitable for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in AI and machine learning, who is passionate about leveraging technology to create impactful user experiences.
