About the Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated graduate to join our growing banking and financial consulting practice. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with an experienced Credit Risk professional on projects across Africa involving Credit Risk, IFRS 9, Executive Reporting, Artificial Intelligence, Banking Analytics, Dashboard Development, and Professional Training. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in Banking Analytics, Data Science, Credit Risk and Financial Consulting while working on real consulting engagements. Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Risk \& Banking Analytics * Develop Python scripts for banking data analysis and automation. * Write SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse banking data. * Support IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model development and monitoring. * Assist with Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD) modelling. * Analyse loan portfolio performance and credit risk trends. * Prepare executive dashboards and management reports. * Perform data validation and quality assurance. * Assist with technical and business documentation. Huchest Studio Platform * Support the implementation and configuration of Huchest Studio solutions. * Design executive dashboards and management reports. * Develop reusable reporting templates. * Test new platform functionality. * Assist in preparing client demonstrations. Artificial Intelligence * Research and evaluate AI applications in banking. * Develop AI-assisted reporting solutions. * Identify opportunities to automate business processes. * Explore innovative analytics techniques using modern AI tools. Marketing \& LinkedIn * Research banking and financial industry trends. * Draft LinkedIn articles and thought leadership content. * Create professional graphics, infographics and presentation materials. * Support webinar preparation. * Assist with website and marketing content. * Contribute to business development initiatives. Course Development Assist in developing professional training programmes covering: * Credit Risk Management * IFRS 9 * Basel Frameworks * Python for Banking * SQL for Banking Analytics * Artificial Intelligence for Financial Services * Executive Credit Risk Reporting * Dashboard Development Responsibilities include: * Developing presentation slides * Preparing practical exercises * Creating sample datasets * Writing participant manuals * Developing quizzes and assessments * Supporting online course production Research \& Consulting Support * Research banking regulations and industry developments. * Assist in preparing consulting proposals. * Conduct market research. * Prepare client presentations. * Support consulting engagements. * Contribute to product development and innovation. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in: * Computer Science * Data Science * Statistics * Mathematics * Finance * Economics * Actuarial Science * Information Systems * or a related quantitative discipline. * Approximately 1 year of professional experience or a relevant internship.
