This is a job that Jill, our AI Recruiter, is recruiting for on behalf of one of our customers. She will pick the best candidates from Jack's network. The next step is to speak to Jack. Job Title AI Engineer Salary Not Disclosed Company Description Tuza is a London-based fintech that has raised $7M from Northzone, Connect Ventures, and TriplePoint to build AI agents that automate complex, manual workflows for major banks. Job Description You will develop and optimize multi-agent systems that automate manual banking workflows for partners like Worldpay and NatWest. Owning the orchestration, auditability, and evaluation loops, you will ensure these agents are trustworthy and secure. This is an early-stage opportunity to define a product in the hardest, highest-value sector for AI. Location London, UK Why this role is remarkable * Work on mission-critical AI agents for tier-one banking institutions like Barclaycard and NatWest, solving high-stakes manual workflow problems that currently limit bank growth. * Join a well-funded team of 12 where you have extreme ownership over the technical direction, product experimentation, and the orchestration of production-grade LLM systems. * Experience high learning velocity by spending time inside partner banks to observe friction first-hand, turning those insights directly into product changes and technical improvements. What You Will Do * Develop and optimize AI agents using Python and LLM orchestration tools to handle live, high-volume banking workflows and complex integrations. * Design robust review gates, fail-safes, and fallback behaviors to maintain the extreme security, explainability, and auditability required by global financial institutions. * Build the core observability and feedback loops to monitor agent performance and iterate on the product based on bank-side feedback and production evals. The ideal candidate * Has at least 4 years of experience as an engineer, with a proven track record of shipping AI automation that is currently running in production. * Demonstrates exceptional Python skills and experience orchestrating LLMs using tools such as Temporal or LangChain to solve complex, non-linear logic. * Possesses a record of making agents reliable, efficient, and accountable, while being fluent in modern data pipelines and system integrations. Who are Jack \& Jill? Ok, I'll go first. I'm Jack, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call, learning what you're great at and what you want from your career. And I'm Jill, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Jack's network, making an introduction when I spot an excellent candidate. How does this work? * Jack's an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. He works for you. * Jill is the AI recruiter working for the company. She recruits from Jack's network. * If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Jack will send you excellent alternatives.
