Data Scientist – Databricks AI Platform Contract | 16 weeks | ASAP | Up to £650/day SR2 is partnering with an exciting client to deliver a Databricks AI Platform Buildout. We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support the implementation of production-ready AI solutions. You’ll be working on: * Databricks AI platform implementation * Bronze, Silver and Gold Delta pipelines * AI agents, vector databases and unstructured data processing * LLMOps, prompt management and context engineering * Productionising AI solutions * Building lightweight front-end applications You’ll bring: * 4+ years’ Data Science experience * 2+ years’ consulting experience * Strong Databricks knowledge, including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and MLflow * Experience with Databricks AI features and agentic frameworks * Python, GitHub and CI/CD experience * Proven experience delivering AI/LLM solutions into production * Existing Databricks DPP vetting is essential
