AI Governance Manager

AI Governance Manager Reading(Hybrid) | Up to £80,000 A newly created role at the centre of an organisation's AI transformation. You'll work closely with senior leadership to shape how AI tools are governed, adopted, and scaled across the business. The Role * Assess current AI usage across teams and build a roadmap for adoption * Lead AI tool selection, implementation, and governance * Develop policies and best practices for responsible AI use * Manage relationships with AI vendors, including Microsoft * Support training and change management initiatives * Track AI usage, spend, and business impact * Deliver reporting and recommendations to senior executives Your Skills \& Experience * Background in IT governance, technology operations, programme management, or similar * Experience developing technology policies or governance frameworks * Understanding of enterprise AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Experience managing vendors and driving technology adoption
