GROUP HEAD OF DATA AND AI:
To lead the Group’s data, analytics, and AI strategy in support of the organisation’s strategic priorities, ensuring data and emerging technologies enable better decision-making, operational efficiency, enrolment growth, and improved educational outcomes across the Group.
The role is responsible for shaping and delivering the roadmap for enterprise data and AI use cases, identifying opportunities where analytics, automation, and AI can support strategic business objectives and enhance organisational performance.
Reporting to the CIO and operating as part of the Technology Senior Leadership Team, the role will work closely with executive stakeholders across the organisation to ensure data, analytics, and AI capabilities support the successful delivery of the Group’s strategic and operational priorities.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on business enablement, governance, organisational capability, and value realisation, supported by specialist technical and delivery teams.
You will be repsonsible for:
Shaping and execute Nord Anglia's enterprise Data \& AI strategy.
Unlock value from data and AI to enhance school performance, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Build advanced analytics and insight capabilities that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Deliver meaningful reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement across the Group.
Champion data governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI adoption.
Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities and drive business transformation through data.
Lead and inspire specialist data, analytics, and AI teams.
Leverage a modern technology ecosystem including Azure, Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics to deliver impactful solutions.

What we're looking for:
Degree qualified and/or professionally qualified, with significant experience leading enterprise data, analytics, or AI functions within complex organisations.
Strong expertise in modern data platforms, analytics, data science, predictive analytics, generative AI, and emerging technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into practical business outcomes.
Proven track record of defining and delivering data, analytics, and AI strategies, use cases, and roadmaps that support strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.
Strong understanding of data governance, responsible AI, compliance requirements, and enterprise operating models.
Experienced in leading cross-functional teams, third-party delivery partners, and engaging effectively with technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex insights and recommendations to Executive and Board-level audiences.
Strategic, commercially minded, and outcome-focused, with a clear understanding of how data and AI can improve operational performance, user experience, efficiency, and growth.
Highly collaborative and relationship-driven, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across functions and leadership levels.
Adaptive, curious, and forward-thinking, with a strong awareness of emerging technology trends and the ability to separate practical value from market hype.
Passionate about education and the role that technology, data, and insight can play in improving outcomes for students, schools, and the wider organisation.
