Head of Data & AI Governance

Head of Data \& AI Governance - £125k-£140k + 20% bonus – Insurance – London/South Coast hybrid La Fosse have partnered with a leading insurance outfit, driving forward the importance of good data across the organisation and now looking to bolster their SLT with a Head of Data \& AI Governance. As the world adapts to AI, the role of exceptional data governance has become a key priority. You will be coming in to shape how data is managed, protected and leveraged to aid the data \& AI teams as well as the wider business. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will have key influence enterprise-wide of data maturity, compliance, and responsible AI use. Ideally, you’ll have previous examples of developing DG functions into maturity, with strong understanding of implementing data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation, as well as advising stakeholders from top-to-bottom on strategy and best practice. You should also have managed individuals through a sustained period of significant transformation, multiple offices, locations, and geographies (ideally including managing managers and overseas teams). Insurance experience isn't essential, however experience of working in a regulated industry would be of advantage. Multiple offices in the South of England and happy to consider multiple locations.
