Data Scientist Location: Oxford (Hybrid) Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 + Excellent Benefits About Our Client Our client is an innovative life sciences technology business using AI and advanced analytics to solve complex healthcare challenges. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Data Scientist. The Opportunity Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Data Scientist to join their expanding technology function. You'll work within a collaborative Agile team, helping to design, develop and maintain scalable solutions while contributing to the technical roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop and support high-quality software solutions. * Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers and other technical teams. * Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code. * Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and code reviews. * Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability and security. * Investigate production issues and implement long-term solutions. * Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practice. Skills \& Experience * Commercial experience with Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Power BI. * Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles. * Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * A proactive attitude with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
