Lead AI Engineer — Wealth Management *£100 - £150k + Bonus* This wealth management firm are investing heavily into AI and see it as a core part of how the business will operate moving forward. They're hiring a Lead AI Engineer to sit at the centre of that shift, working directly with business teams across the firm to find real, high-value use cases, then building and shipping the AI tools that deliver them. This will be the most senior AI hire in the business. This will be a role that collaborates with all the teams. You'll be in the room with underwriters, advisers, operations and compliance teams, understanding how they actually work, and turning that into agentic tools, internal copilots and automation that gets used. What you'll be doing: * Partnering directly with business stakeholders to identify and scope AI use cases * Designing, building and shipping production AI tools (agents, copilots, retrieval-based systems) into a genuinely regulated, legacy-rich environment. * Working alongside an internal trainer to support adoption, without owning training end-to-end yourself * Bringing judgement on AI risk What we're looking for: * Real experience shipping LLM/GenAI tools to production * Strong engineering fundamentals * Comfort and genuine enjoyment working directly with non-technical stakeholders * Ideally some exposure to wealth management, asset management, private markets * Someone who enjoys working in a hybrid set-up Interview process: * Two-stage interview process: 1) Hiring manager - cultural fit 2) Technical \& Product round
