Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit. The role This company builds and licenses AI agents that automate critical customer acquisition, onboarding, and retention for major banks. They run real agentic systems in production, tackling long, high-stakes banking workflows. Backed by leading VCs, they're solving complex, real-world problems at scale. You'll own the infrastructure that keeps these production agents reliable. This means building the evals, feedback loops, prompt engineering, and fallbacks, alongside the human-in-the-loop logic that governs agent autonomy. This role shades between AI engineering and ML, but it's product-leaning: you'll build across the agentic and software stack, not sit in a siloed research function. It's a rare seat for an engineer who wants to ship, not just research. The work * Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks and feedback loops for production AI agents. * Develop advanced prompt engineering strategies and fallback mechanisms to ensure agent reliability in high-stakes banking workflows. * Build and refine human-in-the-loop decision logic, determining when agents act autonomously and when human intervention is required. * Contribute to proprietary ML models (supervised and self-supervised) used by major financial institutions, applying pragmatic academic insights. * Drive the evolution of the data strategy and contribute across the full agentic and software stack (Node/TypeScript). What You Bring * Proven experience building and maintaining production agentic/LLM infrastructure, including evals, feedback loops, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop logic. * A pragmatic ML foundation across supervised and self-supervised methods, applied to real-world problems. * Full-stack mindset: comfortable contributing to the Node and TypeScript software stack, not just model development. * Strong system design capabilities and adaptability, demonstrated through a technical assessment. * You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where data strategy is still evolving.
