Senior AI Engineer Remote (UK) | £75,000 - £90,000+ DOE Build AI That Makes a Difference We're hiring a Senior AI Engineer to join an innovative and growing technology business developing AI-powered products for some of the world's leading organisations. Working at the forefront of AI, you'll help build scalable, production-grade solutions using LLMs, AI agents, cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices. What You'll Do * Design and build scalable Python backend services * Develop AI-powered products using LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows * Create APIs and integrations for enterprise clients * Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure * Drive innovation and contribute to technical strategy * Collaborate with a small, highly experienced engineering team What We're Looking For * Strong Python engineering background (ideally 5+ years) * Experience building AI/LLM solutions in production environments * Knowledge of RAG, AI agents and modern AI frameworks * AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience * Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and scalable architecture * A curious mindset and passion for solving real-world problems Bonus Points * Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries * React or frontend exposure * MLOps, Data Science or DevOps experience * Familiarity with ISO27001 environments Why Join? * Fully remote UK role with flexible working * Work on meaningful AI products already used by major global organisations * Join a collaborative, low-ego team where your ideas genuinely matter * Influence product direction and technical decisions * Career growth within a scaling AI business The Person You're someone who doesn't just use AI, you've built with it.
