The role is full time and for a fixed term of two years, working 36 hours per week. We offer flexible working arrangements where the role allows. This role can be based at one of our sites or offices, at home, or worked on a hybrid pattern. You will be required to attend our Swindon office on a frequent basis, for one day per week initially, dropping to one or two days per month. This will be discussed further at interview. You will identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve colleague productivity, streamline business processes, and increase organisational effectiveness through practical technology solutions. Acting as a bridge between governance, business teams, people and culture team and Technology Services, you will help departments understand, prioritise and implement solutions using AI, automation platforms, collaboration tools, workflow technologies and other digital workplace capabilities. As AI Transformation Manager, you will lead the practical adoption of AI, automation and digital workplace tools to improve productivity, streamline internal processes and deliver measurable organisational benefits. The role will focus on helping teams identify practical opportunities to use AI, automation and digital workplace tools to reduce manual effort and improve how work gets done across English Heritage. It will also involve working closely with colleagues across the organisation to prioritise ideas, support adoption, and make sure new tools are introduced safely, effectively and with clear measurable benefits. To be considered as AI Transformation Manager, you'll need: * Strong practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, agentic tools and how to apply them safely in an organisational setting, taking in to account governance and security concerns. * Experience of workflow automation, process improvement and identifying manual tasks that can be redesigned or automated. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate and Power BI. * The ability to engage stakeholders, translate technical concepts into clear business language, and influence decisions across business and technology teams. * Experience supporting adoption and change, including business process mapping, training delivery, user engagement and benefits realisation. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to measure productivity gains, assess ROI and communicate business impact clearly.
