Machine Learning Engineer 📍 London (5 days onsite) 💰 £100,000–£180,000 + Equity Oliver Bernard have once again partnered with one of our venture-backed AI clients as they continue to expand their Machine Learning team. Following a successful period of growth, they're now looking to hire an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to help take frontier AI research into production. If you're the type of ML Engineer who enjoys taking cutting-edge research and turning it into production systems used by global enterprises, this is one of the most technically exciting opportunities currently on the market. You'll be joining a well-funded AI startup backed by some of the biggest names in venture capital and AI, building technology at the intersection of LLMs, simulation, behavioural science and large-scale machine learning. You'll own the journey from research prototype to production, working on: * Fine-tuning, RL and model distillation * Large-scale inference optimisation * Production ML systems * Data pipelines powering LLM applications * Scaling frontier AI models for enterprise use We're looking for: ✔ 2+ years building production ML systems ✔ Strong Python engineering experience ✔ Hands-on experience with LLMs, fine-tuning or post-training ✔ A startup mindset with genuine ownership ✔ Someone who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems What's on offer: * up to £180,000 base salary (depending on experience) * Meaningful equity * London (5 days onsite) * Small, high-performing engineering team * High ownership from day one Interested?
