Orbital's flagship product, Orbital Copilot, uses advanced AI to assist legal professionals with due diligence, document analysis, and transaction management. The company has recently raised $60 million in Series B funding and is expanding across the UK and United States. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered systems using state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs). * Build AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and advanced document understanding pipelines. * Collaborate with AI Engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and legal experts to develop innovative solutions. * Take ownership of AI features from concept through deployment and continuous improvement. * Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and system optimization. * Monitor and improve AI system reliability, performance, and scalability. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. * Experience developing and maintaining production software systems. * Strong problem-solving and software engineering skills. * Interest in large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and generative AI technologies. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Fluency in English. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar AI platforms. * Knowledge of RAG systems and agentic architectures. * Frontend development experience. * Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tools, APIs, and distributed systems.
