Are you a highly experienced Power Platform Lead Engineer? Do you have a passion for utilising emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and service quality?
We are seeking an experienced and highly autonomous Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership for the University’s Power Platform and Automation capability.
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, solution architecture, and organisational enablement. The successful candidate will take ownership of technical decision-making for low-code automation and AI services, working independently to define standards, guide delivery, and engage senior stakeholders across the University.
This is a senior technical role requiring confidence in judgement, clarity in communication, and the ability to lead through influence rather than instruction.
This role supports a strategic investment in automation, AI, and low-code technologies to improve operational efficiency and service quality across the University. The Power Platform is delivered through a federated model, enabling central teams and local Automation Hubs to build solutions within agreed guardrails. You will work with a wide range of academic and professional services teams to understand needs and help translate them into practical, low-risk solutions
The Lead Engineer will be responsible for ensuring this model operates safely, consistently, and effectively.
