Job Role: Business Analyst / Technical Analyst (BA/TA) - AI Contract Duration: 6 months Location: London / Sheffield (Hybrid - 3 days on site) Daily Rate: Inside IR35 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Technical Analyst to collaborate with Cyber, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Technology teams in shaping and delivering AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities. The role involves translating complex operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements, defining success criteria, and ensuring that solutions are user-friendly, well-controlled, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Engage with Cyber, SOC, and Technology stakeholders to understand operational problems and identify AI-driven solutions. * Translate business and operational needs into detailed, clear, and testable requirements. * Define success measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities. * Work closely with development and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and compliance standards. * Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI solutions to ensure usability and control. * Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain alignment. * Document processes, requirements, and outcomes to support governance and audit needs. Required Qualifications and Skills: * Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, preferably in cybersecurity or AI-related projects. * Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, SOC functions, and technology environments. * Ability to translate complex operational issues into clear, actionable requirements. * Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in cybersecurity. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Experience with requirements management and documentation tools. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in financial services or regulated industries. * Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks relevant to cybersecurity and AI. * Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
