The Role * Develop, train, and deploy computer vision models (object detection, image classification, segmentation, multi-modal learning) * Fine-tune, evaluate, and productionise multi-modal LLMs for business applications * Drive experimentation and prototyping of advanced ML/AI techniques * Provide technical direction, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to the data science team * Work with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align ML strategy with business goals * Architect and productionise end-to-end ML pipelines on Azure, ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and monitoring of deployed models What You'll Need * Strong, current Python skills, including building and maintaining production services with frameworks like FastAPI * Solid machine learning and computer vision background, with a track record of deploying real models to production * Hands-on experience with computer vision training and labeling toolchains (e.g., Roboflow), including dataset management and model evaluation * Experience with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) or equivalent cloud AI stacks with an ability to adapt quickly * Practical understanding of working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments, including data residency, de-identification, model governance, and auditability * Strong judgment in scoping problems and determining when a model is ready for deployment What's On Offer * Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge AI platform * Collaborative environment with leading experts * Chance to influence the future of AI technology * Professional development and growth opportunities Apply via Haystack today!
