Junior Data Scientist (Remote) – £35,000 + Training Provided – Entry Level Location: Remote Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a curious and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join their growing remote data team. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity with full training provided , ideal for graduates, career changers with analytical skills, and aspiring data professionals looking to build a career in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and business analytics . Working alongside experienced data professionals, you will help analyse datasets, build reports, identify trends, and contribute to projects that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Collect, clean, and analyse structured and unstructured data. * Support the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualisations. * Assist with statistical analysis and predictive modelling projects. * Work with large datasets to identify trends and business insights. * Support machine learning and AI initiatives where appropriate. * Collaborate with technical and business teams to solve data-related challenges. * Document analysis and present findings clearly. * Maintain data quality and accuracy across business systems. Skills \& Experience * Interest in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or Statistics . * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Basic knowledge of Python or R is beneficial. * Familiarity with SQL and data visualisation tools is advantageous. * Understanding of Excel and data analysis techniques. * Excellent communication and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently in a remote environment. * Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial. * Commercial experience is not essential – full training provided.
