Machine Learning Engineer

An innovative organisation in the financial services space is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The successful candidate will join a fast-growing team that has built its technology function with a modern, cloud-first approach, placing artificial intelligence at the centre of its technology strategy. What You'll Be Doing * Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions across a variety of business and engineering initiatives * Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies to deliver innovative products and features * Build and optimise prompt engineering frameworks, AI workflows and retrieval-based solutions * Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to create scalable, production-ready systems * Help establish best practices around development, governance and responsible technology usage What We're Looking For * Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning or automated solutions * Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and prompt engineering * Knowledge of modern tooling and frameworks, including exposure to RAG architectures and vector databases * Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP) * Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience developing scalable applications What's On Offer * Salary: Up to £100,000 * Performance-based bonus scheme * Private healthcare and strong pension contribution * Hybrid working model with a modern Central London office * Opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives in a minimal legacy environment Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
