FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an AI Lead / AI Evangelist to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is an initial 6 month fixed term contract opportunity with strong potential for extension and will be a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in either York or London. Our client is looking for a passionate AI Lead to help drive AI adoption and enablement across the business. Sitting within the Data \& AI function, this role will focus on educating and empowering business users to leverage AI tools effectively, identifying opportunities for automation and innovation, and helping teams build self-service solutions using Microsoft's AI ecosystem. This is a highly visible, stakeholder-facing position suited to someone with a strong Business Analysis background and a genuine enthusiasm for emerging technologies. Responsibilities * Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for AI-enabled solutions. * Promote and drive adoption of AI tools and capabilities across the organisation. * Deliver training, workshops, and coaching sessions on AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot. * Support business users in building self-service solutions, automations, and AI-powered workflows. * Assess business problems from multiple perspectives and recommend the most appropriate solution, whether AI-driven or otherwise. * Act as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities, best practices, and use cases. * Collaborate with technical teams to understand existing solutions and identify opportunities for reuse or enhancement. * Help connect stakeholders with the appropriate teams and experts to accelerate solution delivery. * Champion innovation and foster a culture of AI adoption throughout the organisation. About You * Proven experience in a Business Analyst, Change Analyst, AI Enablement, or Technology Adoption role. * Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with an ability to influence and educate users at all levels. * Experience working with Microsoft Copilot and a strong understanding of AI use cases within a business environment. * Knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerShell. * Ability to assess business challenges, gather requirements, and recommend practical technology solutions. * Passion for AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on business enablement. * Experience delivering training, workshops, or user adoption programmes. * Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language. * Comfortable working directly with business users and building strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. * Experience within Financial Services or other regulated environments would be advantageous.
