Job Title: AI Specialist – Microsoft Copilot \& Power Platform Location: Anywhere in the UK (with travel to Altrincham office near Manchester once every 6 weeks for team days) Type: Permanent AI Specialist We're looking for a passionate AI Specialist to join our Digital Innovation team. This is a new role where you'll help shape the future of how we use AI across the organisation. Requirements • 2–5 years of relevant experience in AI, automation, or analytics within a business environment. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform, with the ability to build and configure solutions (not just academic knowledge). • Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and workflow automation tools. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with business teams; leadership experience is not essential. What You'll Do • Support the delivery of AI initiatives across the business. • Design, build, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform. • Develop AI agents, workflow automations using Power Automate, and generative AI solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate business requirements into practical solutions. • Ensure solutions align with AI governance, data privacy, and security standards. • Create training materials and user guidance to encourage adoption of AI tools. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Large Language Models (LLMs). What We're Looking For • Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform. • Good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and prompt engineering. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach. Nice to Have • Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Power Automate. • Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or API integrations. • Understanding of AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices. • Microsoft certifications in AI, Azure, or the Power Platform.
