Job Advertisement / Candidate Profile Graduate Financial Analyst \& AI Modelling Associate Location: Central London Start Date: Autumn 2026   We are an established fund manager in the fields of Shipping and Energy, and we are seeking an exceptional professional or graduate with strong quantitative ability and a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and financial modelling to join our team as a Graduate Financial Analyst \& AI Modelling Associate. While the role will involve working closely with the fund portfolio managers to facilitate portfolio construction, the suitable candidate will also need to be able to work independently.    This role is ideal for a highly numerate candidate — preferably with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, and either a master’s degree in finance or one or two years’ experience in the financial market — who is excited by the application of AI tools to financial analysis, forecasting, and company modelling.   About the Role The successful candidate will work closely with senior professionals on a range of analytical and modelling assignments involving: * Financial analysis and valuation in the fields of Shipping and Energy * Company and sector research * Forecasting and scenario modelling * Building and improving financial models * Using AI tools to enhance research efficiency and analytical workflows * Data interpretation and quantitative analysis * Preparing reports, presentations, and investment materials * Supporting strategic and commercial decision-making The role offers an opportunity to develop practical expertise at the intersection of finance, quantitative analysis, and artificial intelligence.
