Outside IR35 possible.

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a growing team working across a number of different GenAI initiatives . With support and oversight provided by the chief data scientist this role would take the lead on one of the generative AI projects - either delivery of an existing proof of concept to MVP or work in the Ideation and Innovation pillar looking to test ideas and concepts with a view to scale in the future.

The projects are high profile both within IBM and at DWP and as such someone with a proven track record delivering high quality technical work would be required.

• - Must be a UK National with minimum 5 years residency
• -Strong Python experience
• - Experience of working with Generative AI models
• - Knowldege of cloud services - ideally AWS and/or Azure
• - Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplanry team
• - Ideally have experience working in public sector

Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful projects involving big data analytics.
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms, AI techniques, and statistical modeling methods.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying scalable analytics solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, and scripting with Bash (Unix shell).
• Deep understanding of database design principles along with practical experience working with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem components like Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience working with natural language processing (NLP) tools and techniques for text analysis applications.
• Strong background in data mining methods combined with expertise in SAS or similar statistical software packages.

Pay: £440.00 per day
