Ecommerce Data Entry & AI Assistant (NO WORKING FROM HOME)

About Us

We are a leading UK online retailer specialising in bathroom spare parts, working with over 200 manufacturers. As a fast-growing e-commerce business, we pride ourselves on expert knowledge, excellent customer service, and a supportive team environment.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining products on our website.

This is not just basic data entry, this role requires someone who can work with large datasets, spot inconsistencies, and improve the quality of our product listings and website data.

This role is ideal for someone who is very confident with Excel and spreadsheets, enjoys working with data and is interested in learning how AI, automation and simple scripting can make everyday work faster and more efficient.

You do not need to be a programmer, but you should be comfortable with technology and interested in learning new tools.

We are also increasingly using AI and automation within the business, so you will have the opportunity to use tools that can help analyse data, clean spreadsheets, generate product information and automate repetitive tasks.

Your responsibilities will include

• Adding new products to our ecommerce websites
• Updating existing product information
• Working with Excel and Google Sheets every day
• Checking product codes, prices and descriptions
• Sorting and filtering spreadsheets
• Spotting missing or incorrect information
• Cleaning up supplier spreadsheets
• Finding and fixing duplicate or inconsistent data
• Making sure website information is accurate
• Helping with ongoing website and product projects

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is

• Very confident using Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working with large spreadsheets
• Good at sorting, filtering and working with formulas
• Extremely accurate and detail focused
• Good at spotting mistakes
• Organised and able to manage their own workload
• Comfortable working on repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
• A logical problem solver
• Confident learning new systems

Previous ecommerce experience would be helpful, but it is not essential.

We are more interested in finding someone who is excellent with spreadsheets, learns quickly and takes pride in getting things right.

Important

This role is 100% office based in Hoddesdon.

There is no working from home or hybrid working available.
