At PwC, our people in finance consulting specialise in providing consulting services related to financial management and strategy. These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals. In enterprise performance management at PwC, you will focus on helping clients improve their financial performance and decision-making processes. You will analyse financial data, develop performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), and design and implement performance management frameworks. You will be responsible for providing guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to drive operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives.About the role

Imagine helping some of the world's most complex organisations reinvent how they plan, budget, forecast and manage performance - not through a single classic EPM SaaS platform, but through the next generation of finance data platforms, AI capability and agentic workflows. As a Senior Associate in our Finance Solutions - EPM team, part of the Digital Core Modernisation practice, you'll play a hands-on role on high-profile FP\&A Data and AI programmes, helping finance functions move from static planning cycles to intelligent, connected and insight-led performance management.

This is a role for an EPM/FP\&A practitioner who wants to build the craft of finance transformation and work at the intersection of finance, data engineering, analytics and AI. You'll help build solutions using cutting edge data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake, combined with AI capability such as Microsoft Foundry, customised workflows and enterprise-ready agent patterns across data agents, Foundry Agents, Copilot Agents and related technologies.

If you're energised by solving real finance problems with modern data and AI - and want to grow quickly in a team helping clients define what best-in-class FP\&A looks like in a world where big data and agentic capability are changing the EPM market - we'd love to hear from you.

What your days will look like

  • Contributing to the design and delivery of FP\&A Data and AI solutions, translating planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management requirements into scalable data, analytics and agentic components.
  • Preparing for and supporting business requirement and design workshops with Finance, Data and IT stakeholders, including documenting requirements, capturing decisions and helping translate outcomes into future-state processes, governance and adoption activities.
  • Supporting the design of FP\&A processes across revenue, demand, margin, workforce, OpEx/CapEx, cash flow forecasting, scenario modelling and management reporting, with data and AI embedded into the process design.
  • Supporting the build, configuration and testing of solutions across modern data platforms and the wider finance landscape, including ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle), cloud data platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure), BI tools and existing EPM platforms.
  • Helping bring AI and agentic capabilities into finance designs - for example automated data interrogation, driver-based forecasting, variance commentary, planning co-pilots, close-to-forecast workflows and self-service insight agents.
  • Taking ownership of defined deliverables or workstreams, managing your own priorities and working collaboratively as part of mixed onshore/offshore and multi-disciplinary delivery teams alongside finance transformation consultants, data engineers, solution architects, AI specialists and client teams.
  • Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders, supporting proposals and asset development, and helping build our next generation EPM Data and AI capability.
  • Developing your technical, consulting and finance transformation skills through hands-on delivery, coaching and collaboration with experienced EPM, data and AI specialists.

The role is for you if

  • Experience designing or delivering FP\&A, EPM, analytics or finance transformation solutions for large, complex organisations, either in consulting or from within a finance function.
  • An FP\&A and EPM foundation with practical experience of planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
  • An understanding of modern data and analytics concepts, with practical exposure to one or more technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Azure or Power BI, or comparable cloud data and analytics services.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements with Finance, Data and IT stakeholders, translating business needs into data, analytics, AI and workflow capabilities.
  • A business and finance process-oriented mindset that brings technology, data governance, controls and adoption together with confidence, supported by strong communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Practical exposure to AI and agentic capability in a finance or planning context - for example Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Foundry Agents, data agents, custom AI workflows, automated commentary, predictive forecasting or conversational analytics.
