A stealth AI startup is looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer to join its lean founding team and help build the intelligence layer behind a new class of AI systems.

This is a chance to get genuinely early . You'll work directly with a deeply technical founding team across machine learning, NLP, knowledge representation, graphs and information retrieval — taking ideas from research → prototype → production while helping define the technology.

There is no established playbook here. You'll help create it.

What you'll do

• Build

ML systems

for understanding and connecting complex information

• Develop knowledge representations, ontologies and

graph-based systems

• Push retrieval across

dense, sparse and structured data

• Build NLP and information extraction systems
• Explore how knowledge can be

connected, validated and reasoned over

• Turn research into

production technology

• Shape architecture and

technical direction from day one

What they're looking for

• Strong experience across

ML, NLP, Information Retrieval or Knowledge Representation

• Experience with

knowledge graphs, graph databases or Neo4j

highly desirable

• Excellent ML fundamentals and strong software engineering ability
• Evidence of taking research or experimentation into working systems
• Exceptional academic or technical track record
• Curiosity around

LLMs, reasoning and semantic search
