Senior Data \& Insights Analyst

£75,000 + 15% bonus

Central London | 4 days per week in the office

I’m working exclusively with a fast-growing intelligence and advisory business looking for a Senior Data \& Insights Analyst to join their London team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking complex, ambiguous questions and turning data into clear, commercially relevant insight for senior and C-suite audiences.

You’ll work closely with research, data and customer-facing teams, analysing a mix of structured and unstructured information and helping shape the insights that go into client reports, presentations and advisory work.

The role will involve

• Analysing complex datasets and identifying meaningful trends and insights
• Combining quantitative data with surveys, interviews and qualitative research
• Translating analysis into clear, decision-focused narratives
• Working closely with researchers to structure analytical questions and test hypotheses
• Partnering with data engineering teams where new data pipelines or transformations are required
• Producing high-quality visualisations, analysis and supporting evidence for customer-facing work
• Presenting and communicating insights to senior and executive stakeholders
• Ensuring analysis is accurate, robust and properly validated
• Proactively identifying new questions, themes and opportunities for deeper analysis over time

A major part of the brief is AI .

They are particularly interested in people who are going beyond using AI for basic productivity, research or code assistance.

They want someone who is actively exploring how AI can be used to transform data, connect datasets or systems, build analytical tools and workflows, work across structured and unstructured information, and ultimately improve the quality of insight being produced.

Crucially, they also want someone who understands where AI is useful, where it needs validating, and where good analytical judgement still matters more.

You’ll need

• Strong SQL
• Python ideally
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with senior stakeholders
• Excellent data storytelling and communication skills
• A consulting-style approach to ambiguous problems
• Confidence forming hypotheses and building a defensible point of view from incomplete information
• Genuine curiosity around AI and modern analytical tools

Experience in supply chain or operations would be useful, but it isn’t essential.
