We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our dynamic team at Aventum Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying behavioural learning systems that seamlessly integrate into our digital products and workflows. Your primary focus will be transforming advanced behavioural, sequential, and causal AI models into dependable, scalable, and maintainable production systems. These systems will power our Digital Twins, agentic decision engines, and intelligent automation solutions, enabling our clients to achieve smarter, data-driven outcomes. The role acts as a bridge between model development and real-world implementation, requiring close collaboration with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and product teams to embed behavioural intelligence across the entire lifecycle—from data pipelines and inference services to live decision-making and system monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, applied statistics, or software engineering with a proven track record of building production systems. Demonstrated experience in implementing sequence- or decision-based models such as LSTM, Transformers, Markov models, or reinforcement learning-inspired methods in real-world applications is essential. You should have practical experience deploying AI models into production environments, beyond experimental or notebook-based work. Familiarity with behavioural modelling concepts like imitation learning, behavioural cloning, or decision process modelling is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with causal inference tools and methodologies such as DoWhy, EconML, or CausalML applied to real data is required. Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow are necessary skills. Candidates should also have experience building or integrating AI systems via APIs, services, pipelines, or orchestration frameworks, and be comfortable working in engineering-led product environments that balance research insights with delivery constraints.
