Technology, AI \& Automation Manager Didsbury, South Manchester | Hybrid – 3 days per week in office | 12-month FTC We’re looking for a Technology, AI \& Automation Manager to join Amoria Group on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a role for someone who enjoys more than just keeping the lights on. You’ll provide technology leadership across the Group, working alongside our established IT Support and Security leads, external MSP and technology partners. But a major part of the role will be hands-on delivery – designing, building and implementing technology, AI and automation solutions that genuinely improve the way we work. We’ve invested heavily in our technology estate and are now increasing our focus on Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, AI and automation . We have a growing pipeline of opportunities and need someone who can take a business problem, identify the right technical solution and then actually build it. What you’ll be doing Technology leadership \& operations * Oversee the effective day-to-day delivery of IT services across the Group * Provide technical leadership and escalation where required * Work closely with our IT Support Lead, IT Systems \& Security Lead, MSP and technology suppliers * Oversee supplier performance and significant technology changes * Help ensure our technology environment remains stable, secure and aligned with business priorities * Manage, mentor and develop technology team members AI, automation \& technology solutions * Design and build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform , particularly Power Automate and Power Apps * Develop solutions using Copilot and Copilot Studio * Work with teams across the business to understand processes, pain points and opportunities * Identify where technology can create genuine efficiencies * Take solutions through design, build, testing and implementation * Automate manual workflows and connect processes across Microsoft 365 and wider systems * Build Power Apps and Copilot agents * Find better ways for the business to use the technology it already has You’ll work closely with our Business Transformation Lead , combining their focus on process improvement, change and adoption with your technical design and delivery capability. What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who combines broad technology experience with strong hands-on Microsoft Power Platform capability . Ideally, you’ll have: * Strong hands-on Power Automate and Power Apps experience * Experience designing and implementing end-to-end automation solutions * Experience with Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot or wider AI technologies * Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, particularly SharePoint and Teams * The ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions * Experience overseeing IT operations, infrastructure or business systems * Experience working with MSPs and technology suppliers * Strong technical problem-solving skills * The ability to work confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders * A pragmatic approach to technology – knowing when to build, when to automate and when a simpler solution is better * Experience managing, mentoring and developing technology team members You don’t need to be a specialist in every part of our technology estate. We already have internal leads and external partners providing specialist support. What we do need is someone with enough breadth to provide effective technology leadership , combined with the technical capability and enthusiasm to get hands-on and deliver. Why join us?
