Role: Automation Solutions Engineer (AI Engineer) Location: Chester, UK ( 4 days onsite) Requirement: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 months Required skills \& technologies (“must-haves”): * Power BI experience * Payments experience (There is a difference between payments and finance experience) * Ability to engineer/good overall skill in using AI Overview * To support productivity improvement initiatives for GLTP delivery management Position Summary * We are seeking a Senior AI / Agentic Solutions Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade AI solutions focused on automation of project management, governance, financial controls, change management and engineering planning processes. * The successful candidate will work on next-generation AI assistants, agentic workflows, RAG platforms and AI-enabled process automation solutions. The role combines software engineering, AI development and workflow orchestration to transform complex manual processes into scalable digital solutions Required Qualifications * 5+ years software engineering experience. * Strong Python development expertise. * Experience with LLMs and Generative AI solutions. * Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks. * API design and integration experience. * SQL and data processing experience. * Git and CI/CD experience. Desired Qualifications * RAG architecture implementation. * Vector database experience. * Azure AI / OpenAI experience. * Enterprise workflow automation. * Agentic AI frameworks. * Financial services experience Thank you.
