Aflac is investing in a new generation of technology capability that will transform customer and employee experiences, scale the secure and responsible use of AI across the enterprise, and reshape how software is designed, built, tested and delivered. These roles will work across strategic product transformation, cloud and data platforms, enterprise AI services, context and knowledge engineering, quality, experience design and AI-enabled developer tooling. This is more than an opportunity to join an individual project: it is a chance to help build the platforms, practices and specialist capabilities that will turn AI into measurable business value at enterprise scale The Team The AI Services team helps Aflac use AI in the places where it can make the biggest impact. The team takes priority ideas from concept to working products, learns what works, and creates patterns that other teams can reuse. This role sits in Context Engineering. The team focuses on building AI-enabled products and helping other teams understand how to use AI safely, consistently and effectively. You will work closely with AI Platform, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architecture, Security, QA and Application Support. The Role This is not a standard software engineering role. You will be someone who can move between technical detail and clear explanation. You will help teams understand what AI can do, where it has limits, and how to use it responsibly in real delivery work. *This is an opportunity to:* * Help shape how Aflac uses AI in software delivery * Work on practical AI use cases that move from idea to production * Support engineers and product teams as they adopt new ways of working * Create guidance, examples and reusable approaches that make AI easier to use well Build something new and leave a lasting impact * This role will help create the reusable platforms, engineering patterns and specialist services that enable teams across Aflac to build and scale AI solutions responsibly. What you'll be doing You will help teams get real value from AI tools, from early exploration through to delivery. The role combines hands-on engineering, problem solving, facilitation and coaching. You do not need to have every answer, but you do need to be curious, practical and able to bring people with you.
