What role will you play?
As a Manager within our Model, Data and AI Risk Internal Audit team, you will help deliver audits that assess the governance, management and use of models, artificial intelligence solutions and data across a diverse range of business activities. Working alongside subject matter experts, you will provide independent assurance over areas including model risk, AI governance, data quality and technology controls, helping the organisation navigate emerging risks and opportunities with confidence. Reporting to a senior leader within the team, you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business, contribute to integrated and specialist audits, and support the development of team members through coaching, technical guidance and constructive challenge that enhances audit quality and impact. While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require three days a week in our advertised location.
What You Offer
* Strong experience reviewing, developing or validating traditional and AI-driven models, with the ability to assess model performance, conduct testing activities and evaluate model risk outcomes.
* Deep understanding of AI platforms, architectures and governance frameworks, combined with knowledge of associated technology, operational and risk management considerations across the AI lifecycle.
* Experience assessing data governance, data lineage, data quality and privacy controls, with an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, the EU AI Act and model risk guidance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, present complex topics clearly and drive positive change across an organisation.
* A collaborative approach to leadership, including coaching and reviewing the work of others, applying sound judgement and contributing to an inclusive, high-performing team culture
