Machine Learning Engineer – Autonomous Systems 📍 London | Liverpool Street | Hybrid – 3 days per week Want to build ML that actually leaves the lab? I’m representing a technology company developing advanced autonomous systems across air, land and maritime platforms. They’re growing their ML team in London and hiring across ML Engineering, MLOps and Data Engineering . Why it’s interesting * Deploy ML onto real autonomous systems * Work across deep learning, computer vision and embedded AI * Solve problems involving imagery, LiDAR, telemetry and sensor data * Work closely with hardware and systems engineers * Take models from training through to real-world deployment What you could work on Depending on your background: * Training and optimising deep learning models * Computer vision and vision-language-action architectures * Model optimisation for constrained hardware * ML training and inference infrastructure * GPU clusters, cloud, Docker and Kubernetes * Large-scale geospatial and sensor datasets * Synthetic data and simulation What they’re looking for Strong experience in one of these areas matters more than ticking every box. You’ll likely have a background in ML, MLOps or data engineering, alongside strong Python, C++ or Rust skills and experience taking complex systems into production.
