As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, leading engineering decisions, and delivering production-grade ML systems that operate at scale. The Role: As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will: * Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architectural decisions for complex machine learning initiatives. * Design, build, and deploy scalable, production-ready ML applications, tools, and infrastructure. * Establish engineering best practices and standards for machine learning deployment across the organisation. * Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product teams, and commercial stakeholders to deliver impactful AI solutions. * Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, translating sophisticated technical concepts into practical business outcomes. * Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to the growth of the engineering team and technical culture. * Drive innovation across AI and machine learning projects, ensuring solutions meet both operational and ethical standards. Essential Skills \& Experience: * Extensive experience across the full machine learning lifecycle, from model development to deployment and monitoring. * Hands-on experience operationalising models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch . * Strong software engineering fundamentals with expert-level Python development skills. * Experience building scalable, maintainable, and reusable software systems. * Strong cloud engineering experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP , including architecture, security, and infrastructure considerations. * Proven experience using Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications in production environments. * Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced and high-growth organisations. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
